Case Palletizing and KForce Corner Board Stretch Wrapper

Kaufman’s exclusively designed palletizing system robotically picks and palletizes cases using custom-designed spatula end-of-arm tooling. A gantry-style sheet dispenser automatically places a top sheet on the fully palletized load prior to entering the stretch wrapping cell.

In the stretch wrapping cell, two FANUC LR mate robots place corner boards on the four sides of the load with the assistance of a turntable conveyor for load stability and protection. The load is then securely wrapped using the KForce R35 overhead stretch wrapper before being distributed.

This system utilizes an automatic end-of-arm tool changer, which allows it to accommodate multiple case designs by switching from spatula end-of-arm tooling to a vacuum tool.
