Kaufman's KP1 Group of palletizers is a versatile, full layer robotic palletizing solution engineered to handle a wide range of products, including cases, bundles, and trays. Designed for flexibility and performance, the KP1 systems utilize advanced end-of-arm tooling to palletize complete layers with precision and consistency. As with the KPal K5 Group, the KP1 Group systems can include a tier formation area to organize products before palletizing.
- Cases: The KPal KP1 Group has a dedicated tier formation area that arranges products in the proper orientation to build the load for maximum stability. The KP1 robots can palletize one full layer at a time, and, depending on the application, often two full layers at a time. This can greatly improve cycle times and throughput.
- Bundles: The KP1 Group is designed to handle a wide range of bundled products, including loosely wrapped and soft goods. It accommodates small, medium, and large bundle sizes, supports both paper and film overwrap, and offers the flexibility to palletize in a variety of layer patterns to meet specific application requirements.
- Trays: The KP1 Group efficiently palletizes tray-based products by handling one full layer at a time with precise control and consistent alignment. Its end-of-arm tooling ensures stable layer formation and accurate placement, making it well-suited for a wide range of tray sizes and configurations while maintaining reliable load integrity throughout the palletizing process.
